At last i got my kitchen installed after the longest time. I did want to get the kitchen i needed so it needed time and money. Anyway, back to my first blog post. Never done this before so ill jump right in.
So for today's dish i decided to make a Chicken Prosciutto. Joining me in the kitchen was Ashley Muraya of Mowgli, my best friend and chef who continuously inspires me (look out for Ash & Magz Kitchen coming soon). My challenge today was to try different plating ideas by fusing Italian recipes as my base then building up the dish on top of it serving it with a cranberry beetroot sauce. Some of the tools i had for the plating backfired on me as i didn't blend the cranberry sauce to a smooth puree hindering me from creating perfect circles but it helped inspire the splatter on the plate. Il just leave it here and call it art
As for the meal, its pretty quick and easy to prepare. I got the recipe from www.taste.com.au/recipes/chicken-prosciutto-parmigiana/37fe7841-5c20-4167-a38a-b65c21ea45b8 and had to tweak it to my liking. Or maybe because i didn't have all the ingredients. Next was to prepare the chicken and make it ready for the oven
After about half an hour or so, we were excited to put the food on the plate and below were the results. Also i think this has to be the tastiest meal iv'e made so far. Enjoy!
